Bazan's Let Down

So awhile back Stereogum gave the music community an awesome cover album dedicated to Radiohead's OK Computer.  Unfortunately the album is no longer around (or at least on Stereogum's site) but this particular cover by David Bazan was so well executed that I would feel bad if you didn't at least get a chance to hear it.

The Format's front man just wants to have fun

Every lead of a great band has to start a side project new band right?  Well Nate Ruess of The Format has finally got his and they've just released this demo on their myspace.  They're called Fun and it's way too early to make any final judgments but give the demo a listen and see what you think.

This is a track from the new Chronicles of Narnia soundtrack. I've been a long time fan of Switchfoot but lost more interest in the band with each successive release up until this song and Jon Foreman's solo work started coming out and really breathed new life into a musical approach that had become stale.
